About Fetch Park City

Where Dogs are Family, and Freedom Comes First

Fetch Park City was built on something simple, but powerful: a lifelong love of dogs and a deep belief that they deserve more.

What started as a small family dream has grown into a one-of-a-kind dog care experience, designed to give dogs the freedom, space, and love they naturally crave.

But Fetch is more than a business.

It’s a purpose.

Our Story

Built From Love. Created for Something Better.

Fetch Park City began the way the most meaningful things often do, with family, a leap of faith, and a deep, unwavering love for dogs.

The Saylor family made the bold decision to leave everything familiar behind and move to Utah, inspired by a vision to create something different. After visiting Park City and experiencing its incredibly dog-friendly community, it became clear this was the place to build a new kind of dog care experience, one rooted in freedom, trust, and genuine connection.

What started as simple daily dog walks — just a handful of pups each day — quickly grew through word of mouth. Five dogs became ten, then fifteen. Soon, a friend’s backyard became a place where dogs could run, play, and be together in a way that felt natural and joyful, always under careful supervision.

But it didn’t take long to realize that even that space wasn’t enough.

As demand grew, so did the vision. While exploring potential locations, many options felt limited, traditional storefront-style facilities with little to no outdoor space. That wasn’t the environment Fetch was meant to be.

Then, everything changed.

Just minutes from Park City, the family found something rare: 50 acres of open, natural land. A place where dogs could have space to move, explore, and just simply be dogs. A place removed from the noise, with room to breathe, play, and thrive.

That land became the foundation of Fetch Park City.

Today, Fetch is more than a dog care service; it’s a thoughtfully designed environment where dogs experience freedom, adventure, and comfort in a way traditional facilities simply can’t offer.

Because from the very beginning, this was never just about watching dogs.
It was about creating something better for them.

More Than Dogs, This is Personal

Dogs have never just been a part of our lives.
They’ve shaped them.

Before Fetch Park City existed, before the land, the hikes, or the pack runs, there was a little chocolate lab named Bailey.

Bailey grew up alongside us. She was there for everything, childhood adventures, family moments, the everyday in-between. She wasn’t just a pet. She was family, a constant, a best friend. When she passed away at 15, during my senior year of high school, it left a kind of silence that’s hard to explain unless you’ve felt it.

We didn’t plan to get another dog.

Life was shifting. Tony had moved out. I was preparing to leave for college. It felt like the end of a chapter.

But grief doesn’t always leave quietly.

In the months that followed, I found myself struggling in ways I hadn’t before. What started as sadness turned into something heavier, a deep depression that felt isolating and overwhelming. About six months after losing Bailey, my parents made a decision that would change everything.

They brought home a rescue dog named Skyy.

I didn’t know it at the time, but Skyy would become more than a companion, he would become my reason to keep going.

The transition into college was one of the hardest seasons of my life. There were moments when the weight of everything felt unbearable. Moments where I wasn’t sure I could keep moving forward.

But I had him.

And as simple as it sounds, I couldn’t leave him.

Skyy gave me something to hold onto when everything else felt uncertain. He didn’t judge. He didn’t question. He just stayed, steady, loyal, present. And in doing so, he literally saved my life.

It’s not always easy to talk about things like this. There’s still a stigma around mental health and suicide that keeps too many people silent. But the truth is, more people struggle than we realize, and sometimes, it’s the quiet, unconditional presence of a dog that makes the biggest difference.

That experience changed everything for me.

It gave me a purpose in life. I wanted to make things better for dogs, what they deserve, and provide a safe haven to all animals in my care. And it became the foundation for what Fetch would eventually become.

Because dogs are not “just dogs.”

They are Axel.
They are Lucy.
They are Moses.

They are individuals, each with their own personality, needs, quirks, and hearts.

At Fetch Park City, that belief is at the center of everything we do.

My years working in shelters and veterinary clinics showed me firsthand how stressful traditional environments can be for dogs. The noise, the confinement, the constant rotation, it’s no one’s fault, but it’s not how dogs are meant to live.

That’s why creating a kennel-free environment wasn’t just an idea, it was non-negotiable.

We built Fetch to feel different.
More open. More natural. More like home.

Here, dogs aren’t placed into runs and rotated through the day. They move, explore, rest, and play as part of a pack, just as they’re meant to. They’re known, not managed. Loved, not processed.

Because if we were trusting someone with our own dogs, we wouldn’t want anything less.

And neither should you.

Every dog that comes through our doors becomes part of our extended family. We learn who they are, not just their names, but their personalities, their comfort zones, their joy.

Because to us, they will never be “just dogs.”

They’re everything.

Why We’re Different

At Fetch, everything we do is guided by one simple belief:

Dogs aren’t meant to live in kennels. They’re meant to live in environments that feel like home.

That belief is the foundation of everything we’ve created. Instead of confinement and rotation, we offer a kennel-free, open-concept experience where dogs can move freely, socialize naturally, and settle into a rhythm that feels instinctive and calm.

Here, dogs are able to:

  • Move freely and follow their natural energy
  • Build safe, structured social connections
  • Explore outdoor spaces and engage their senses
  • Rest comfortably, without the sense of confinement

And beyond the environment, we’ve designed every detail to support a better experience:

  • 50 acres of private, natural terrain
  • Secure, thoughtfully designed fenced play areas
  • Pack hikes and guided outdoor activities

Because at Fetch, we don’t see dogs as numbers or reservations.

They’re known. They’re loved. They’re family.

What We Believe

Dogs teach us what truly matters.

Loyalty. Presence. Joy. Unconditional love.

They don’t judge. They don’t hold grudges. They show up fully, every single day!

And we believe they deserve the same in return.

That belief shapes everything we do at Fetch:

  • Every dog is known individually
  • Every personality is understood
  • Every need is respected

When your dog comes to Fetch, they aren’t just cared for.

They’re seen, known, and loved.

More Than Dog Care

Fetch isn’t just about providing services.

It’s about creating an experience for both dogs and their owners.

For Dogs:

A place to feel free, excited, safe, and happy

For Owners:

A feeling of trust, peace of mind, and confidence

We want you to drop your dog off (or have us pick them up) knowing they’re about to have the best day possible.

And when they come home tired, happy, and fulfilled—you’ll know exactly why.

Fetch Cares: Our Heart Beyond Business

From the beginning, we knew our mission extended beyond everyday dog care. That’s why we created Fetch Cares—our rescue and hospice non-profit dedicated to dogs who need it most. Senior dogs. Disabled dogs. Dogs others may overlook. Because we believe:
Every dog deserves love—especially the ones who need it most.

Through Fetch Cares, we’ve been able to:
• Rescue and rehabilitate dogs with special needs
• Provide hospice care with dignity and compassion
• Give second chances to dogs who might not have had one

This work is emotional. It’s challenging. But it’s also the most meaningful part of what we do.

Looking Ahead

As we grow, our vision stays the same:
Expanding our facility to better serve dogs
Adding new enrichment experiences (like pools and therapy spaces)
Continuing to educate our community about dog behavior and care
Building something that lasts—for generations
Because Fetch isn’t just a business

It's a legacy for dogs and the people who love them!

Come Experience Fetch

Whether it’s daycare, boarding, hiking, grooming, or transport.

We’re here to give your dog the life they deserve.

A life with freedom.
A life with connection.
A life where they get to just be a dog.
