Everything You Need to Know Before Your Dog’s First Visit
We believe in transparency, safety, and making sure both you and your dog feel completely confident at Fetch.
What vaccinations are required?
To keep every dog safe and healthy, we require the following vaccinations:
Bordetella / Kennel Cough (AVMA)
Highly Recommended
All vaccinations must be up to date prior to attending daycare or boarding.
Why This Matters
Protects your dog from preventable illness
Keeps our Fetch pack safe during play, boarding, and hikes
Ensures peace of mind for all Fetch families
How old does my dog need to be?
Dogs must be fully vaccinated before joining Fetch.
Most puppies complete their vaccination series between 14–16 weeks of age, which is typically the earliest they can safely participate.
Does my dog need to be spayed or neutered?
Yes.
Dogs 9 months and older must be spayed or neutered to participate in daycare or boarding.
We understand that some veterinarians recommend waiting longer depending on breed, size, or sex. However, around 9 months is when behavioral changes from hormones can begin to impact group dynamics.
This policy helps us maintain a safe, balanced, and positive environment for every dog.
If you have questions about your dog’s situation, we’re always happy to talk through it with you.
What are your hours?
Our team is on-site with the dogs 24/7.
For client drop-off and pick-up, hours are:
8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Do you offer mobile grooming?
We do not currently offer mobile grooming.
However, if your dog is staying with us for daycare or boarding, we can coordinate grooming during their visit—making it easy and convenient for you.
Can all dogs participate in hikes?
Not all dogs are eligible for hikes.
Dogs must be approved by both our team and their owners and demonstrate reliable recall with our staff before joining.
Because our hikes take place across 50 acres of land, strong recall is essential to keep the pack safe and moving together.
How long is a meet & greet?
Meet & greets typically last about 30 minutes.
During this time, we’ll:
Show you around the property
Answer your questions
Observe your dog’s comfort level and behavior
It’s all about making sure Fetch is the right fit for your dog.
What if I’m not home for pickup or drop-off?
No problem.
With your authorization, we can safely enter your home to pick up or drop off your dog.
Pickup: We’ll retrieve your dog and send you a text confirmation
Drop-off: We’ll return your dog to your designated area and notify you once they’re home
If you ever don’t receive a notification, you can always reach out to us for an update.
Do I have to allow home access for shuttle service?
No, this is completely optional.
However, if you’re not home and we do not have permission to enter, we won’t be able to complete the pickup or drop-off.
If a drop-off cannot be completed, your dog will return to Fetch, where you can:
Pick them up before 6:00 PM
Or schedule delivery for the following day
Do you have multiple locations?
No, we currently operate out of one location:
3600 W. State Road 248
Kamas, UT 84036
How does boarding (sleepovers) pricing work?
Boarding is priced separately from daycare.
$80 per night
$45 per additional dog
Sleepovers are booked similarly to a hotel stay:
The first day is the same price regardless of arrival time
Morning arrivals are recommended to help dogs settle in smoothly
On the final day, a daycare fee applies only if your dog stays past 11:00 AM
You can avoid the additional fee by:
Booking the morning shuttle
Or picking up before 11:00 AM
Do dogs receive a bath before going home?
Exit baths are not automatic.
They are available by request only and must be scheduled in advance, based on availability.
